Professor Seddik Bacha is an Engineer and Magister (eq Dr 3rd cycle) from the National Polytechnic School of Algiers. Doctor and HDR of the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble. He is a university professor at Grenoble-Alpes University and a researcher at the G2Elab laboratory (UMR 5269). He currently holds the position of Chairman of the Scientific Council of the ITE SuperGrid and also serves as Scientific Program Director. He has defended more than 50 doctoral theses in electrical engineering, the majority of them in the management of unconventional energy systems (renewable energies, electric vehicles, smart buildings, etc.). He has published as author and co-author more than 450 contributions, of two books, one of which is devoted to the management of the storage of electric vehicles. In the past, he had several responsibilities, including that of the SYREL team at G2Elab (about 16 permanent staff and around forty doctoral students) and the deputy director of GDR SEEDS. ) and microgrids. To this end, he coordinated an ANR project on storage management and is in charge of two others (ERANET and ADEME) on the optimal management of storage-related assets in micro grids or in distribution networks.
